Lightweight innovation creates endless possibilities.
Because thinner material is used, Miyuro Natural Ultra-Thin Marble offers the advantage of being much lighter. This significantly reduces transportation costs and allows for faster, dust-free installation.
In this video, we will show the actual weight of a standard 6.5 mm, 200 × 300 mm Miyuro ultra-thin stone panel: 852 g, which is equivalent to approximately 14.2 kg per square meter.
Light enough for even a 60-year-old woman to carry easily.
In these two videos, we will use a 1200×600mm marble slab as an example to show that even a 60-year-old lady can carry it with ease. This clearly demonstrates the lightweight advantage of Miyuro natural ultra-thin marble. A lighter material not only makes installation easier, more efficient, and more environmentally friendly, but also greatly reduces the risk of worker injuries during construction.

Even with a significant reduction in weight, Miyuro natural ultra-thin marble makes no compromise on product quality or strength. Thanks to the reinforced backing layer, it not only preserves the authentic texture of natural stone, but also offers superior impact resistance and durability compared with traditional 18mm thick marble. Next, we will demonstrate the outstanding strength of Miyuro natural ultra-thin marble through a 50-ton truck compression test, a second-floor drop test, and a 3-meter steel ball impact test.
Video: A 1kg steel ball is dropped from a height of 3 meters directly onto the marble slab. The test shows that the Miyuro natural ultra-thin marble slab remains intact, with almost no visible damage.
