Located in the heart of Chongqing’s Guanyinqiao 9 Street commercial district, Chongqing Guanyinqiao 9 Street Intercity Hotel is surrounded by a vibrant selection of restaurants, shopping destinations and nightlife venues. With convenient access to Huangnibang Metro Station, guests can also easily explore Chongqing’s iconic attractions, including Jiefangbei, Hongya Cave and the Yangtze River Cableway, where the city’s dramatic mountain landscape, rivers and urban skyline come together. The hotel combines a lively central location with contemporary Bauhaus-inspired design, offering a refined and comfortable experience for both business and leisure travellers.

For this project, Miyuro supplied natural ultra-thin marble for the hotel’s lobby flooring, featuring Venice Brown throughout the main reception, lounge and circulation areas. Characterised by flowing natural veining and layered brown-grey tones, the marble introduces visual movement across the expansive floor while complementing the dark reception counters, warm timber wall panels and amber-coloured furniture.

The polished stone surface reflects the surrounding lighting and enhances the lobby’s sense of depth and openness. Miyuro’s natural ultra-thin marble preserves the authentic variation and refined appearance of real stone while reducing material weight and simplifying handling and installation. Its slim structure makes it particularly suitable for large hotel public spaces and renovation projects. The completed lobby combines natural marble texture with modern German-inspired design, creating a distinctive, sophisticated and welcoming first impression for arriving guests.
