Mercure Nanjing Confucius Temple

Located in Nanjing’s historic Qinhuai District, Mercure Nanjing Confucius Temple is within walking distance of the Confucius Temple scenic area and the lively Qinhuai River district, offering guests convenient access to the city’s cultural landmarks and urban attractions.

For this project, Miyuro supplied natural ultra-thin marble for the hotel lobby floors and staircases, using Ottoman Grey, Castle Grey and Manya Grey. The three grey-toned marble varieties complement one another through their natural textures and subtle colour variations, creating a refined and visually layered interior. The polished lobby flooring enhances the sense of openness and reflects the surrounding lighting, while the marble-finished staircases extend the material language throughout the hotel.

By preserving the authentic appearance of natural stone while reducing material weight and simplifying installation, Miyuro’s ultra-thin marble provides an efficient solution for large public areas and detailed architectural surfaces. The completed project combines natural stone texture with contemporary hotel design, creating an elegant, durable and welcoming environment for guests.
